ISIS raid by US helicopter sees four American troops injured in Syria | US | News

Four American soldiers were left wounded by their own helicopter raid on a key ISIS figure. A statement from US Central Command confirmed that four soldiers were wounded alongside a working dog, despite killing the senior terrorist.

“Last night, during a partnered US and Syrian Democratic Forces (SD) helicopter raid in northeastern Syria, an explosion on target resulted in four US servicemembers and one working dog wounded”, they said.

“The targeted ISIS senior leader, Hamza al-Homsi, was killed”, they added. “The US servicemembers and working dog are receiving treatment in a US medical facility in Iraq.”
