Princess Tatiana of Greece is thanking her mother for supporting her over the last year — days before her ex-husband Prince Nikolaos is set to remarry.
Tatiana, 44, has moved from her current home to the southern outskirts of Athens, less than a year after she split from Nikolaos, 55, according to Hello! and HOLA!.
In an Instagram Stories post, Tatiana (born Tatiana Blatnik in Venezuela) thanked her mother, Marie, for helping her move, sharing a photo of herself and her mom hugging, per HELLO!
“Thank you to the most amazing mamasita for helping me move in less than 48 hours,” she wrote alongside the photo. “U R unreal! Finishing with my favourite: filling up the kitchen with local produce from the Friday Manaviko – pure happiness and love. Te adoro! Gracias.”
On Jan. 22, Hello! reported that Nikolaos had proposed to Chrysí Vardinogianni, and the outlet later reported that the couple is set to wed in a private ceremony on Friday, Feb. 7.
Nikolaos and Tatiana first announced their divorce in a statement shared with the public on April 19, 2024.
“We wish to inform you of a significant and heartfelt decision made by TRH Prince Nikolaos and Princess Tatiana. After 14 years of marriage, they have chosen to amicably dissolve their union,” the Greek royal family’s office said in a statement at the time.
“This decision was reached with great care and mutual respect, reflecting the depth of their appreciation for one another and the moments they have shared… They will continue to live and build their lives in Greece, a place they both call home,” the statement continued. “The Family will always support them.”

Nikolaos and Tatiana married in August 2010 at the Cathedral of Ayios Nikolaos on the island of Spetses. The former couple, who had no children, pursued private careers — Nikolaos in photography, and Tatiana in social impact — as the Greek royal family are no longer legally recognized. They lived together in Athens, PEOPLE previously reported.
In another Instagram post shared on Jan. 6, Tatiana opened up about her “year of transformation” in 2024, seemingly referring to her divorce from Nikolaos.
“Last year was a year of transformation for me, filled with changes that challenged me to grow, to learn, and to rebuild a life that truly reflects who I am. There were times I felt caught between identities, navigating a limbo of self-discovery,” she wrote in part. “Yet, in those moments, I found clarity. By embracing my true self, I uncovered a new strength.”
“My deepest gratitude is for the people who stood by me when the path felt uncertain. Together, we have emerged stronger, brighter, and ready to embrace what’s ahead,” she added.
